Staging - Make It Functional

Everything in your home should work as intended.

Light switches should be able to make lights go on.

Doors should close properly.

Locks should lock.

Electrical outlets should be able to be used to plug things into them.

The automatic door to the garage should go both up and down at a touch of a button.

The plumbing all needs to work and be non-drippy.

The furnace needs to be serviced if its due for it.

If something is broken, it needs to be fixed. If it is not fixed now, it will come up in the home inspection anyway. Then your $100 fixes can turn into $300 concessions at closing.

Well I don’t want to pay for little stuff at the closing. What about this old rug then?
