Creator of Dungeons and Dragons Gary Gygax dies at age 69. I’ve gone from dice and paper gaming to MMORPGS, but it’s still his game we seem to be playing. Toliken might be our Mozart, but Gygax is as crucial to gaming as the inventor of the eight note scale is to music.

Gary Gygax’s work on D&D was an inspiration to us and in many ways helped spark our passion for creating games of our own. As avid D&D players and fellow game developers, we were all saddened by the news of his passing; we feel we’ve lost a true adventuring companion. Thanks for everything and farewell, Gary. One of the things that American sports really seems to lack is naked people running onto the field and disrupting the game. Here’s a classic example of Streaking – though it’s Batsman 1 Naked Guy 0 all too quickly. Also funny is listing to the Aussie commentators debating if it’s a guy or not. (2 minutes – a few seconds of minor nudity from behind, no fronty bits visible, generally safe for work)
