Lifehacker has a cool way to change the default message on HP printers. Now if you can’t think of why that is incredibly cool, you just aren’t evil enough are you. The real gold is in the comments… Required Reading.

We have an employee who hacked into the printers a couple years ago, set the display to read that the paper was inserted upside down. It’s amazing how many people stopped and actually turned the paper over in the tray.
Hubby hired a group of people who will mess with your computer if you leave it unlocked and unattended for a microsecond. We had a lot of fun a couple weeks ago randomly creating errors on this guy’s machine that said “invalid mouse movement.”
More fun was popping up an error message with an immediate second error message that read “Error creating error message.” Finally got caught while having his computer whisper his name at odd intervals when someone mistyped the path to the sound file and it created a real error message pointing back to one of our computers. Fun while it lasted though.
(lifehacker link incorrect, btw)
