The Feed Bag

October 3rd, 2007 The Feed Bag

Breast_cancer_ribbonVicki Moore and a near miss with the boob.

Realtor Genius gets a spanking from the National Association of Realtors for using the word Realtor in the name of the blog and url. Lots of fall out and chatter to be found in the comment of that post. Required Reading.

Honestly, yeah a little silly on second thought to use the word in the title, NAR could at any time decide to pull out the stick. Nothing to do with right or wrong, just that the NAR is a huge organization and can push and shove harder and longer than Benn could. Size does indeed matter. It’s good to be Godzilla I guess.

The irony is that Benn was one of the few bloggers on the re.net that actually defended the NAR at times from the general accusation that NAR was a bunch of clumsy, clueless, heartless, self-serving…

Diner DashJonathan Dalton weighs in with a follow up post.

I follow gaming fairly seriously. An interesting article on Halo 3 vs Diner Dash, and how each turns a profit. The one thing the article misses is the way some people will buy an entire system to play a single game. Microsoft is hoping Halo 3 will be one of those games.

…and you’ve been fed.

Every day I scan far too many blogs and writings related to real estate using the free Google Reader . The Feed Bag is simply what struck my fancy as I read. Want to follow my free RSS feed? Subscribe here.

  1. Draw Your Line In Our Sand- NAR : agentgenius.com Says:

[…] Athol made a comment that we’re tiny compared to NAR. While this may be true, we are not afraid of NAR. We’ve had four law firms offer to take on the NAR on our behalf (pro bono) that believe the case could be won and/or resolved in our favor. I for one have never been afraid to fight the good fight, but in this case, having directly asked NAR legal if there was any remedy that would allow realtorgenius.com to remain open, the answer was a swift ‘no.’  NAR was made aware that I would allow the chips to fall where they may where public relations were concerned, NAR was not concerned. I simply agreed to discontinue use of the domain, and will. […]
