Kevin Boer explains why the Emperor has no clothes in Add a Pool, Lower Your Home’s Value Required Reading.
Ken Schrammie rants on How Do Consumers Find Ethical Help? with a brutal story of a consumer getting screwed.
Darren Rowse at Problogger has a nice post of quotations from a ton of people summarizing Starting a Blog - What We Wish We Knew
Kris Berg ponders how much of an effect crappy agents have in a falling market. I’m in mild disagreement with Kris on some of this as you can see in the comments at Fear Factor - Who Makes a Real Estate Market? Hopefully this post doesn’t get lost on the weekend. Required Reading.
Though Irvine Renter has a great example of some of the stuff Kris is talking about in this slash, burn or poison approach to price reductions. Also a few horrible photos of the property.
It’s a fine line between riding a market down to the bottom with baby reductions, or chopping your sellers profits to less than nothing with something too drastic.
Image robbed from here. A good Econ 101 summary of demand and supply.
…and you’ve been fed.
Every day I scan far too many blogs and writings related to real estate using the free Google Reader . The Feed Bag is simply what struck my fancy as I read. Want to follow my free RSS feed? Subscribe here.
