Fix Broken Things
March 9th, 2007 Family Life
It’s important to fix broken things, they drain your energy away. Things like;
The blown light bulb that you haven’t replaced because you need to get a new one from the store.
The door that doesn’t shut properly unless you lean on it and then it jams shut.
The mold and scum overgrowth in the shower.
The pillows or mattress well past their useful life.
The guttering that isn’t fully attached to the house anymore.
The garage door opener that just makes a grinding noise but doesn’t open the door.
The mix matched flatware collection from three different patterns.
Any window that is cracked or broken.
Any wall that needs to be repainted or wallpapered.
The rug with the faint we tried our best to get it out odor of cat urine.
Broken things suck the life out of you. Fix them, or replace them. You will feel so much better for doing so.
